whats that thin paper you can put in front of an object and with lighting make a cool silhouette. anyone know what im getting at? i think the paper is brown if that helps..

Don't know of the particular paper you are looking for. With enough light blasting out from behind your subject, you could make a silhouette on pretty much any paper that isn't completely opaque.

Sounds like a standard tracing paper would work?

Don't take my word for it, I personally use tracing paper for light diffusion . But you can get it in like drafting size, which would be more than enough space to silhouette a person on. But it's translucent and it might work...

The nice kind is called vellum...
