I can't believe I chose my Morning entry (which I haven't shot yet) over my Fallen entry. Fallen entry is considerably above my average.....really unexpected! In fact the other two entries that I have in are also currently above my average....what do you reckon the chances of maintaining that is?
ETA: Dennis thanks for all the work that you are doing to make this tourney happen!

Heh, I did the same exact thing. At the time I didn't have an entry for fallen, then got one in last minute. I still don't have a shot for the open challenges. |

So what happened last night.....I went from being a "comfortable" 0.06 above my average to 0.04 below my average and all this in 8 votes, that means that I received 7 3 votes and 1 2 vote. Where are the vote faries when you need them!

| I can relate! I was .4 above my average for week 1 and went down to a mere .1255 in less than 12 hours! What's happening? I am already in Fallen and well above my posted average for week 2 so I don't want to be cut at the last minute - this is not fair (I am actually tapping my foot like a 5-year old LOL)! :( |

(My Fallen is bouncing around all over the place too, from a bit below my average to a bit above, where I hope it will stay. The vote scrubber is my friend. As long as the low votes are the only ones that get scrubbed out!) |

| well...i don't know friends there's about six hours left until rollover and i seem to be teetering on the line of Knock-Out but lets hope for the best i really don't want to loose on the first week but i guess we'll just have to wait and see i have the feeling that the next few hours are going to go really slow for me lol. but good luck to every one that has photos in week one still tonight is the night so here we go. |

Good luck guys! I'm glad I went with my Fallen entry. I still don't have anything worthwhile for Morning or Evening, ... that means morning is gone, and since rollover hits at 9 p.m. around these parts, not much time left for the evening shoot. |

| Well, my Fallen entry is not doing as badly as it should, but it's still well below my average. I'm glad I decided to go with the non-existing shot. :) I'm off to figure out what to shoot! Wish me luck! |

Fallen for me well.. i forgot the deadline date and missed it, even though i thought of a perfect shot for it, i was a little bit pissed with myself for missing it but i'm still going to set it up and take the photo anyway just when i find that thing people like to call free time lol

| up and down, up and down, up and down ... thats how my week has gone ... I was comfortably over my average and now, again, slightly under it ... I have no idea if I should bother with the open challenges or not ... I'm not thrilled with my shot, and if I enter it and then don't make this weeks cut I'm gonna be bummed! |

Take the shot anyway and hold it in reserve - then wait til rollover (I don't know if you went with the Tuesday ones or the FS) to make the decision. At any rate you will have a photo that you can work on and PP so you don't do something last minute:-) And if it happens that you don't make it to the next stage you still might have a photo that you can play with in PP to make better or heck if it is good you might enter just for the heck of it:-)

I got a question do you post here which challenge. you are enter if you enter the Sunday before Tuesday challenge. I though I made a post stating I'm enter the Lawn contest.

Ha! Fallen by the wayside for me. I've fallen .55 below my average in Fallen.
so it looks like at end of week two I've fallen into a chair on the sidelines. |

Yep, you post here, or you can PM me, before the first challenge you enter starts voting. I just went back and looked through the posts, and found this from you:

But this was posted on July 30, after Cardboard Box had started and after Lawn and Still Life had started as well, so it was too late to opt out of any of those challenges. Since you entered Cardboard Box, that's the one that counts for week 1.
Having now found this post, I will add you to the list of "Morning II" entrants, so if you entered Fallen that one will not count for you for week 2. |
