| I've been waiting for the perfect moment but I should have realized it will never come. So, tomorrow morning I will try for morning and tomorrow evening I will try for evening. And I will pray something good comes out of either. Tonight, I am going to play with my wii fit because it should be hitting my door about now... :) |

Wll you all know how I was all paranoid about the photo filter. I was not DQ'd for that.
I FORGOT TO CHANGE MY BLOODY CLOCK ON MY CAMERA TO ENGLISH TIME
How bloody stupid can I be. SO not only has that been DQ'\d I can not enter this weeks challenge.

your Cape Cod trip? I just uploaded some pic into a folder Cape Cod in my portfolio.

I feel so stupidly blonde right now, i am hiding my head in shame!!
THOSE thoughare some amazing shots of the Cape, looks like you had some real sunshine and a good day messing about on the boats! |

Oh crap! Bummer, Juliet!! But now you can post the shots you were going to enter to your portfolio. They really are quite lovely and it's a shame to let them go to waste.
And I must apologize as well. I came home from work, packed up my gear, had a great (for me!) idea for "Evening" and drove into town to shoot it. Wouldn't you know... not only did the high clouds come in, muting my sun, but the dang earth had rotated on its axis just enough to NOT have the sun where I expected it in the location I was going to shoot.
So it's the one that Juliet and Heini picked or nothing at all. And sad to say, I think that one will not even break a 5 in scoring. For you guys, I'll submit it (otherwise I'd just dump the whole folder). But I really do apologize in advance. |

oh it was a stupid mistake on my part. I bet you though that this weeks challenge will be something right up my alley. Oh well, live and learn!!!
So this week I will be encouraging all of you and you will probably get sick of all my suggestions hehehe
thanks guys for being so understanding. Last time I checked i was at a 6.3, so big groan from me!! |

Im am truly sorry to hear this. As my inspirational fear, your rally not living up to your job. How am I supposed to be afraid when you get DQed?
There is always next week my dear.
Nice shot, btw. We dont get quite as much blue down here in sunny Southern California.

Well, my Still Life hung in there around 6, then slipped to 5.9 - flirting with 6. Then it slipped some more to 5.8, going up now and then. And just now I looked at it has gone down to 5.7. I'm so disappointed, because I really liked this shot and don't think it deserves a 5.7. Whine Whine Whine. But there you have it.

| I have a terrible feeling about my entry this week so I didn't submit it. I had a feeling it would score pretty badly. I'm sorry but I just really think people won't care for it. |

Thanks, Deb. It recovered a little towards the end there, but didn't make it back over 6.
Juliet - so sorry about your DQ. And Heini - woot on your top 10. Ian - awesome score also!!

double ouch, i see with the score i hd it would have placed about 13th. Oh well. YOu guys did an amazing job on your shots, they where all outstanding .

| Is it just me, or are we getting a TON of "set up" challenges of late? Is it a cruel joke of some kind? I SUCK AT SET UP SHOTS..... Maybe it's a sign I should try harder? Gotta say I find it rather freakin' depressing.... |

| I think you could do a woody that is covered in water drops, sitting on a feather going towards a glass filled with drink while a duckie is being splashed into it. If you can get the aura bora thing in there too that would help |

Sub-5 in Morning. I won't be entering any more challenges unless I can reasonably predict at least a 5+ score. Lately, I'm having a hard time with that, both the shooting of and the predicting of 5+ scores.
Edit - how many more weeks of the Olympics? I need to know when I can quit entering for awhile. It's not helping my disposition.
