I wanted a way to clean up my profile page while having more options than currently available. Wouldn̢۪t be nice if someone could comment on you bio or your DPC goals. A place to list your website that people could comment on. A way of listing other camera equipment; again people could comment if they like, and finally a way to have a contact link without jeopardizing your email address. The options are limitless.

I know it will require you to checkout my profile page and this is not an attempt to bump of my profile hits but I would like to show you (if you wish) what I̢۪m talking about.

Maybe someone else may have some ideas. Let me know.

Scott

That's a very good idea, thumbs up.

I can appreciate this idea, (The current PM system seems to work fairly well, however) I am happy to share my personal e-mail with forum members, but I have had my e-mail address harvested by spam-bots once before and I try to avoid putting it on an easily accessible page. It's only a deterrent of course, I still get plenty of spam, like everybody else.

Even though my email address listed is a jpg image? It's not text and has no link. If you put your cursor over my email address it does not show up a link or anything over the picture or at the bottom of the browser. Isn't that a safe way to stop spam-bots.

Yes, it is. At least until the spam-bots start using OCR.

That's pretty cool SDW. Great idea to have your email as a jpeg too. Will keep that in mind. Thanks for sharing.
