Kashi, if they're that disorganized, I think you need to be the manager. :-)

Hear hear! Go and apply for THEIR position, and the simple fact that you're a mom of 3, and are still sane (I think ;-0) should be enough to convince them that yes, you do have the necessary skills and experience.

Okay, so the TRU manager called back today. It seems that I misunderstood the time of the interview when we'd spoken the other day - it was supposed to have been at 12:30, not 5:00.

Though, how those sound anything alike, even with three kids hollering in the background, I'm not sure.

Anyhow - we spoke today, I apologized for the misunderstanding, and we rescheduled the interview for tomorrow at 4:00 pm.

This time, I'd stepped out to the common hallway to talk to her, and we were certain to clarify the time.

So - we'll try this again tomorrow afternoon.

Go for it Lea!

OK have an entry in for Fallen, I think it'll pull me out of the 4-ish doldrums I've been in lately.

I am in for fallen, but expect it to be mediocre. I am hopefully shooting tomorrow for morning.

In the past couple of weeks, I have received chocolate from both krnodil and melethia, and I can now say without hesitation that these are the two finest human beings in the history of humanity. Mere moments after delectating the final precious bite of Karen's chocolate, the mail brings forth European mannah from the heavens of Deb's generosity.

I know that as your Fearless Leader, many of you look to me for examples of fine behavior, the sort of thoughts and deeds that will put you on the path to true happiness. Well, you need look no further than these two paragons of virtue.

Let us all bow down to these heroines, nay goddesses, of Team Suck.

PM me your address, dude.

I live 20 minutes from Hershey.....I'll knock your socks off!

Oh, and thanks for the birthday wishes.....apparently I POed someone BIG time in the master control room.

A tree ten yards from my house got blasted by lightning and took out the phone lines 'til about an hour ago.

Not that it bothered me to not be able to get here for two days........(twitch, twitch)

Oh, poor Jeb - those darn trees taking away your internet ! Just shows you that you need to subscribe to internet via cable ;)

Anyhow - 90 minutes until my re-do interview. Hope I can make up for being HOURS late for the first one !

Hey, I'd LOVE to have cable!!

Can you get the cable company to stop by my house?

I cannot get DSL, either.

Don't even go there with satellite......$1000 down, and $100 a month for service as slow as the slowest DSL? No thanks!

I'm considering wireless @ $60 a month, but it's not unlimited and I'm afraid I'd blow out too quickly with DPC.....8>)

I love the solitude and quiet, but there's a tradeoff.

Cool thing that Scott Kelby is doing. I signed up for the one in my town, there is a forum started on this but thought I'd bring it to the Suck Home so you all could see it.

Mourn with me - I broke my all-time fave lens (my 50-200). I think I broke the barrel but so far not the glass. I feel like I just lost a very good friend lol.
