Alright. One more time. Apparently I hit the delete button by mistake. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I'm looking for a recent photo book on trains, tugs, farms, etc of the twentieth century. The author is very old and grew up in NYC. He managed to photograph many of the big old steam locomotives just before they were taken out of service. I can't remember the name of the book or the author. I've searched google for over an hour and it's one of those search things that returns millions of hits. sigh. The author has recently appeared on NPR and was interviewed about his life as a photographer. I'd love to see if amazon still has the book in stock. Anybody out there know who I'm talking about? I simply can't remember. grrrrrrrrrr
