I've finally acquired a couple of unsightly dark blobs in my photos, so I now need to get some sensor cleaning items. I had a look at a well stocked local store the other day and the sensor cleaning devices ranged from a $12 cleaning pen to kits with wet solutions running about $100. The guy at the store offered to do it for me for $75. Um, yeah... sure. If I can assemble my own computer and fix a copier, I think I can clean a sensor. Anyway, I just need a good idea of what to buy in order to do the chore. So what do you folks use?

Copperhill Cleaning Products - the main cleaning kit that photographers seem to use. Make sure you get the one that suits your model of camera.

I was trying to clean off a spot this morning, but it's really stubborn and hasn't shifted. However, I have no cleaning fluid. I was actually thinking of going to the camera store to see if they could get rid of it...

I was going to go with copperhill but I learned a better way, soil! Just regular cheap potting soil from any garden store, fill camera with it and no more visible spots. Also corrects blurred images too! :)

I wish I knew why I was so, hesitant to buying some cleaning supplies, my sensor is just getting more and more dirty...
