Submitted my lawn entry. I'll be on the plane for tomorrows rollover on my way to germany - JA. Anybody in the northern part?

Hopefully it will due better then this week.

I'm in for still life.

My Cold has gone down a tenth. Bah. I think the still life will do well, though. However, I've had such notions before... lol.

How's our fearless leader? Still down?

i am croaking away here, I may croak till I die. I have been useless as Captain this last two weeks. If I am not dead by tommorrow that means I am getting better.

I vagualy remember shooting for this chalenge, it is in and everyone else is in (I think)

Went with the odd shot for lawn and it's scoring a lovely 4.8 at the moment. Bah. I liked the one you liked as well, but figured there would be several of those, and there are. Mine is different, but apparently not pleasantly so. :-)

I'm in. Not saying anything more. My cold entry tanked - sorry guys. Might do better with this one depending on people's definition of still life. I saw some great images pass through email for these challenges. Good luck all! I should be more 'around' this week - life is slowing down a little...

Good job, guys - glad to hear it! I regret letting you down, but I really did think it might be DPC friendly. Shows what I know, huh? On to the next week, right? Anyone have any good ideas besides coffee, sunrises, and sunsets?

As for teh lightroom, I do but not on this computer, is there a way to do it in PS???

You can do the thirty day trial of Lightroom. that's what I have right now.

As for doing it in PS, I know the boats can be brought out by using Shadow/highlight, but I find it a messy tool. You might also try tone mapping, available herebut if you use the demo version you have to clone out the watermarks, which can kind of suck. the colors can be changed using color balance, but lightroom's works better. I REALLY wish that lightroom and photoshop were available in the same package. I so prefer that to Bridge.

I'm am now going back and forth between a 6.2 and a 6.3. It's dropped a little bit, but I'm still happy with the score.
