| Is it okay to use color range and then selective color in basic editing? |

If it is selective in any way, it is not allowed in Basic editing. Whatever you do must be done to the WHOLE image.

| The "selective colors" tool is legal in Basic, as long as it is used on the entire image. |

| Selective Color is legal in Basic (an adjustment layer), Color Range is not (you can't make selections). |
