Thanks everyone for posting ... just a reminder, you don't need to post if you didn't enter Cardboard Box and want to use your Lawn/Still Life Entry for the tourney ... that'll happen automatically. (And if you did enter Cardboard Box ... sorry, too late to opt out of that one now if you already haven't!)
No worries if you did post -- feel free to do so and use this thread to talk about the challenge, crow or complain about your scores, and encourage or make fun of others. (Just posting this reminder so anyone who hasn't posted their entry won't worry that they should post "just in case" they missed something ... you didn't!)

I tried all three this week. My Cardboard Box shot wasn't worth mentioning, much less entering. Lawn was a complete waste of time, though if I had pulled off the shot I wanted, I would have done exceptionally well. In the end, I entered Still Life with a last minute shot.
I wish those of you that will be continuing on without me the best of luck! :) |

Week 2 Challenges: Fallen, Morning II, Evening. PM or post by Sunday rollover if you enter both but want to use your Morning or Evening shot for this challenge. You should all know by then whether you've survived the first week or not!

Those who are kinda close may not know, particularly since the FS challenge will be slowly voted (always is) and won't close until after shots are due in for the week. So to be on the safe side, people should probably plan to enter challenges.
Dang. Now that I type that, I'm wondering why I didn't enter Lawn so I'd be out in the first round?? There's still hope my FS will bomb. I'll keep my fingers crossed. :-) |

I spent the whole day doing my cardboard box shot and it's bombing at 5.5. I took my Still shot at 11:45 last night and it's at 6.5. I think I found the secret. :)

Maybe I should have opted for Lawn instead of FS - even though I only took my shot this morning, it's doing very well above my average. ;-Þ

I actually forgot I was involved in this, and entered a shot in "Lawn" that I love but I knew past a shadow of a doubt would totally bomb, and I am right so far; running a sickly 4.4 thus far, and I am SO out of here :-)

Sometimes it's nice to have a low bar!
Sitting well above my average, though most of you seem to consider mid 5s a tank anyway. |
