Not that many are in focus (using manual focus lenses for the first time EVER), but a few are, and the detail is completely blown out.
My blonde is showing through I'm afraid. I'd had the camera out the other evening, and set it to +1.7 exposure compensation, and forgot to reset it to neutral. Not being used to the display of the D60 yet, I didn't notice it was still set like that.
*le sigh*
At least it was a highly enjoyable morning - you could not ask for a couple nicer guys to go shooting with than Max (Quigley) and Scott (DarkRider). |
I recently shot a beach in the middle of the day at ISO 1600. I was using my old camera, which I haven't used in a few months, and didn't even think to check the settings... |

I have no box. Shot for it, didn't enter. I will have either a lawn or a still, though.
And don't you just hate it when supposed dream jobs turn into nightmares? Sigh. And it's headache weather here - damn hot and humid and nowhere to go to get out of it. Office is not air conditioned, home is not air conditioned. In the 90s and will be all week. Grr. And I suppose if I go sit in my car with the A/C running in the garage, that would be bad, huh? |

| You know, I don't know if the theaters are air conditioned. I do know the movies are probably in German, though. :-) Good idea - will look into it. |

Well Max, even though you are not joining me on the esteemed "Team Chasing Butterflies" I do understand the need for trying to keep active members somewhat even on all teams, so I wish you and all of The Golden Brigade well in your future endeavours.

With Snaffles as well.... we are almost an entire Ontario Canada Nikon shooters team!

I don't know if any of you guys ever play contests on line, but I won a prize today from a contest that Marlboro's been running. I won a $105 gift certificate to Omaha Steaks! Yummy! Not as good a prize as the TV but, better than some barbeque sauce. If anyone's interested here's the link FlavorChase. They give away a prize a minute, and you only have to enter once each day.

I am in for the monthly free for all, with a shot that will likely be around a 6, but nothing too special. (I need a min of 6 not to lose too much ground in the FSM)
I was hoping my lightent I ordered over a week ago would be here today so I could do something for still life, but it did not show. :(
