Been playing with filters again. It's such fun. This was taken in Helsinki train station. Same train as yesterday's post. ie the train to Moscow. |

I finally bought a wide angle zoom. I've been drooling over it for a while, and decided yesterday to just do it. I'll be playing with it for the next few days, so you'll probably be seeing more of these.
Days 18 and 19 (I think)

Day 22 - Lines
School took too much time last week. It's finished now, had two wonderful weeks, almost completely filled with photography, but now I need a little break, so I'm just posting some "homework" from last week for the next days. |

I know that I didn't sign up at first to take pictures every day for this. But this is a slice of my life right now. My daughter Alana is 19 months now. She was born 8 weeks premature and spent 36 days in the Newborn ICU. (Wasn't a fun way to have a first baby.)
These two pictures were taken with my new 50mm 1.8 prime lens. Never had one that was that wide open and I really like it. On the second shot I didn't realize she had the salt shaker upside down until after I took the picture, hehe. The table was a salty mess.

One of my most favorite places in the world.....I named it the Faerie Glen 'cause I always expect to see something just zip out of the trees on wings.....
