so if a pervert comes to you and wants pornographic pictures of 2 consenting adults in New Mexico, does this mean you HAVE to shoot them, even if you think it is morally wrong?!! SOunds like it to me.

How would the two photographers react to being asked to post a sign underneath their main one that says ' We Do not do business with homosexuals in this establishment'?
Do you think they would comply?

Agreed. I think if they want to refuse service to homosexuals, they should disclose it. Just like restaraunts in the early 20th century that said "No blacks allowed." |

First thought: This article sure does make a big deal out of the religious beliefs of the photographers.
Second thought: If they don't want to photograph a gay wedding, why should they? Photographers meet with clients all the time to determine whether or not both parties are interested and can work together agreeably. I've never turned a wedding down - I want the money too badly! :) - but I've always turned down men who call me wanting nude photos taken. I will accept women though. Clearly that's gender discrimination. I've also turned down guys who wanted photos of themselves in women's clothing. I don't think that's something I need to put in my Yellow Pages ad, though, do you? |
