I'm currently taking a MedEvac Escort Course here in Alaska. What a treat we had tonight. The US Air Force Rescue team brought a Pavehawk our way. We were able to get on it and try to assess vitals on one another. No easy task when you can't hear a thing other then the rotors overhead and your ability to palpate pulses is hampered by vibrations. Was a lot of fun though. After we had our fun, the USAF crew had theirs as they hovered about 20 feet overhead to give us the real feel of rotor wash. Thank goodness this was on a clean landing zone, versus the real deal when you could be rescuing someone out in the wilderness. I only had my P&S with me, but here are a couple photos

Thank you - but dont sell yourself short as a photographer. I'm looking forward to Saturday as we will have 4 or 5 different helicopters and small planes we get to go up in and do mock patient care scenarios.
