Im guessing if say 5th place is the highest place to beat their PB then it goes to them... but if first place beats their PB then it goes to them...

Not all the ribbon winners are PBs. If you are placed 23rd and you are the only one, meaning none of the 22 people above you did PBs, you get the hat :) if 23rd and 24th place had PBs, I give the hat to 23rd person...
I never checked challenges all the way who has PBs in general; it might be in first 5, first 10 or first 20... or more.
This will force people to try their bests, without worrying ribbons :)
I think this should work fine :)
It is after all is a Free Study. Many front runners will be high scorers most likely... I think there is a chance for all of you.

hehehehee... I should have come up with this idea little earlier... so you would have your hat... But, "anything but landscape" blue ribbon winner will get the hat :/ You never know though... Since you are red hot now, you may beat your PB again ;) |

| I'm the new kid, I've been wondering, where did the hats originally come from that FocusPoint has a stash of them? Did he make them? Steal them? Is this what happens when the vendor isn't reimbursed for gas? I do, maybe slightly remember there is something, they are not as intended but exist anyway? This is all so very confusing... |

He photoshopped it and put as much as blue he has, original has only one ribbon :P |

| LOL! OK, I just thought maybe he was very handy with a sewing machine and added his blues. :-) I still owe a picture. The problem is trying to find someone besides me to wear it. Maybe a cat? Not likely with the pair I have - they'd never sit still for it! |

 AlexSaberi kindly declined the hat offer that he deserved last FS. He is the second DPCer declined my hat offer. Both are very successful photographers with many ribbons :)
Less than 12 hours left for the "Anything but landscape" challenge to end.
Remember, those hats are the very first hats done for DPC. I had two sets of 10 done, which very few left.  Langdon probably planning or working on his own hats, shirts and mugs but the ones I am giving away are free and very first ones so they could be collectable items in the future. They are semi-official and only ones their kind. They are semi-official because they were done with Langdon's permission.
I won't be ordering others. I kept myself one and I'll give the rest away. All you have to do is try your best to photograph things for the challenges.

Great idea! That way the winner may or may not be a ribbon winner, too. My guess is the hat will go to someone in the top ten. |

| I have been wearing my hat all summer. I still don't think I have taken a picture of myself with it on. I will...I promise. I appreicate it very much. Even had some ask me what DPCHallenge is. Thanks again!!!!! |
