As  levyj413 said, I don't know how people know. Nothing in ones profile says today is the User's birthday. Only thing that changes in your profile is your age and most will never notice you were 46 one day and 47 the next.
BTW, same here. I went from 42 to 43 on July 21st; it was my birthday. Unless I started a thread saying its my birthday I don't expect anyone here to remember.
But again - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Thank you, didn't mean to sound unwanted, just wanted a birthday cake and didn't get one yesterday.
Just a bit depressing is all.
47 means I'll be 50 soon. Where have the 40's gone? It is like a blur.

S' okay. The DPC birthday fairy overlooked me as well earlier this year. I didn't want to turn 47 anyway.
The perfect age is 30, BTW. Old enough that nobody considers you a wet behind the ears kid, but young enough that you are not a geezer either.

Viewed in a positive light, do you really need a reminder that you are getting older... then again, I guess getting older sure beats the alternative huh?

I don't get cakes either. Although one year my office got a cake for me, had a big party in my office with candles, balloons, tons of people.... The only problem was that I wasn't there. And they left it that way for my return, cake plates and all. I heard it was a very good time. :-) |
