pffft and sighs, cramping that many megapixels onto a cropped sensor is just stupid. Bad Nikon :(

Pot, Kettle, Black.

This only problem with catching up to a rival is trying to make sure you don't trip, I think Nikon tripped with this one. Sure it's cheap but that doesn't exclude the shortcomings with this model.

I'm trying to figure out if this thread has descended into extreme sarcasm, or if someone hasn't really read the article!

Or has read it and hasn't realised that it's a joke?

XDR Mode:
Every odd pixel is underexposed by 3 stops. Every even pixel is exposed as per the meter. The two images are combined in camera to produce an extra 3 stops of dynamic range at 6MP. This mode is especially useful in law enforcement, where photographers often have to photograph shady people.

lol

Where's the cappuccino machine? I called Nikon last week and they promised the D90 would have a cappuccino machine....

Yes - law enforcement deal with shady people all the time...

As for the camera review and specs, I think a closer read is in order my friend...
