If anyone is interested I will share my good news ;) one of my first challenge entries to DPC was in the desolation challenge and it won, but was then DQ'ed (and rightly so for not being within the timeframe)

Anyway, I entered this into the MacUser photography competition and have won. It will be printed tomorrow in MacUser, and I also have to go to the MacUser award ceremony next week to collect my prize - a nice Nikon D100 ;)
Pretty good day all round!

What a sensational shot, I am not surprised it (initially) won a ribbon here and not at all surprised you've just won a real prize with it, and one hell of a prize at that!

though I always wondered why the prize in a photo contest is a CAMERA. one would think you had a pretty good one to start with in order to win the contest. LOL. ah well...sell your old one and buy some studio equipment! :)
