It might be fun one of these challenges to award the hat to a random placing. Like in Challenge "X" 29th place will receive the hat. Just a random thought, it may open the chance for more members to win who may not make it to the top. And since you can't really guess a 29th place score, but you know that a 7+ will most likely win, it could make more exciting for more members. Of course you can do what you want, I just thought I would share this thought in case you liked the idea. :) |

Maybe I should ask the first person from the top who gets the Personal Best. This way even you didn't win ribbon, assuming ribbon winners won't break their PB, might get a hat :)
I don't like the idea random number because I am trying to encourage people to shoot their best if they want the hat. It's true that getting blue is very difficult, so, maybe I should go for the first PB from the top :) |

That would be a really cool idea. I admire what you are doing here Leo, and you have done a brilliant job with the hats design - classy looking. |

I don't think you got a hat from me yet... You think you could win blue for "Anything But Landscape" ? or pass your 7.2 PB next challenge (yet to be determine)?
You do have excellent entries. Seems like if you beat me, you'll get the hat... because if you don't, I am getting the blue and keep the hat for next challenge LOL |

LOL! I think it will be some time before I beat my PB, but the hat challenge will certainly give me that extra impetus to try harder. Suspect plenty of others will be trying even harder, too, which will drive up the quality, which will make voting even more enjoyable.

Next challenge is July free study.
Now, for this one you don't have to win a ribbon... All you have to do is to beat your own PB.
I will give a hat to first person from the top who breaks his or her PB this months FS :)

| So if you win the blue ribbon and beat your personal best or if you get 4th and 1st, 2nd or 3rd place does not beat their personal best you win? Not sure if that is what you meant by first person from top. :) |
