Anyone know a good site to find out the generally accepted value of a film camera? It's a Minolta X-370 with several lenses and a manual shutter release cable.

Kevin,
There are actual tables that give that info, however for my needs, I just go to e-bay and see what they are selling for.
I have acquired a couple of "finds" in antique stores where I paid book value, only to check on e-bay and discover I paid double its national "selling" price.

Thanks,
A co-worker asked about this and the eBay list was a good place to be able to point her.

Kevin,
I forgot to mention that I also use the ad section in the back of Popular Photography and Imaging. A couple of the larger houses also deal in used equipment and it is not likely that a person will get more for their gear than what it sells for there. Typically they also rate its condition. |
