I guess I should have put the author and the ISBN # of the book. Seems like everybody thinks my book is made up.

If someone believe that there is not a book with this title (whatever the name is) all it has to do is search the net. Or maybe post on the forums and I am sure that will get help.

I would hope ppl dont mark down because they think the book title is 'made up' - after all, it only takes a quick websearch to confirm the title. |

If you're only getting lower scores than expected and no comments such as "This can't be a book title!", it probably means that they don't really like your picture. Period. |

I've abandoned for the most part the title thing just too hard and I'm not that literate.
I'm voting on pic mostly and voting down pix that look like "this is the best thing I shot all week and I'll make something up rather than go to amazon and come up with a suitable title for my book"
Common people this was easy you could have taken a picture of a snotty tissue and called it "The New England Journal Of Medicine"

I did just pick the best photo I felt I took this week, but I found a title to cover it. I hope folks are voting on the merit of the photo, not on what they imagine to be the creativity effort in finding just-the-right book and then shooting it. This challenge seems to me to be a pass/fail as to whether you have a title covered, and most of the points should be on merit. (joannadiva - I'm not accusing you of this, I understand what you said, but it made me wonder what less reasonable people are doing. I have a sub-5 score, with 33 votes, and no comments)

Well my title is not made up, just about everyone knows the story, the picture fits the title to an almost exact tee and I started with a solid 7 last night and have slowly dropped like a rock once again to a 5.2 this morning. And it's a well planned out shot, heck set it up 3 times and took over 150 shots! And yet with 33 votes only one comment and it was a positive one.........
But again, it's my satisfaction with the shot and I'm very happy with this one, even more than I was with the Infinite and Still Life!

I've learned soooooooooooo much from all of this

Most of the comments are on the title itself. Please look it up. If you believe that the picture is not up to par then that's that, but don't judge it by the book title.

I dont see how people could do that. There is no way that anybody would know the titles of all books ever written. The only way to vote is to accept that each entry is associated with a book title. I hope that people do not vote down just because THEY have not heard of a title associated with a particular photograph. Lets hope common sense prevails.

Some of the book titles I heard of and some of them I never heard of -- however, I solely judged each picture on its merit as a photograph. I did judge on whether or not the title that each person picked (bogus or not) matched the entry they submitted. No sense having Little Red Riding Hood with a picture of the the Seven Dwarfs. |

But Sonnyh, you have obviously forgotten the classic "Little Red Riding Hood does the Seven Dwarfs" .... or was that a video ;)

I'm planning on looking up some all the titles that I've never heard of and vote accordingly.
