Good afternoon,

Sunday I'm going out to the forest to take some pictures for a Valkyrie/Mythology themed photoshoot. The model will be mostly drapped in a white toga.

Would you have any tips for me? I know that the forest can give awesome textures, but the background can easily beacome crowded with distractions or too many objects. I do not have any lighting equqipement other than my SB-600 that I can put on a tripod and remotely fire. People have suggested à 1m^2 reflector but I don't have any. i thought of using a standard office white board, but I fear it will be a little too reflective. And I also have no crew available to hold it unless I lean it on something.

I also plan on using fishing line to make thing float and add a little "shizzle" and "magic" during post processing.

If any of you also have make-up sugestion for the model, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

For what its worth, foam board makes a dandy reflector, plus its very light and cheap.
Available at Walmart or your local equivalent.

The only other advise about shooting a Valkyrie is to watch the reflections off that brass brassiere.

Have fun and be sure to post some pics.

finally, it has been canceled because of the too heavy rain. We took a raincheck (figuratively and litteraly) but it will be hard to reschedule since I usualy have no mean of transportation (but someone lent me his car this weekend).

As soon as it's done, you'll see some sample.
