Not by choice! The old one was, well, VERY old in computer years. Graphics card bit the dust and it made more sense to get a new one than to replace the card. Now I'm dealing with all of those Vista compatibility issues everyone talks about. Luckily all of the important stuff I've been able to find updated drivers for.
Now i'm working on installing my old C: drive and copying about 150 gigs of music and other assorted stuff onto the new computer. Joy! |

Good Mooooooooooooooooooooorning Jokers!
It's submission day! Everyone ready? The pix are looking great and we're going to crush our competition (especially those Germans)!
If you want more c&c post 'em up on the Flickr site, otherwise please remove all non-submission shots so that we're left with only the submissions, making it easy to identify them in the challenge and not vote on them (you do remember that you are not supposed to vote on our own submissions, right?)
Rollover is 12AM EST (9PM PST) sharp - submit early to avoid the rush later, you can always update your image later if you need to (without having to do a full unsubmit/resubmit).

Guh, i totally know what you mean! My old one was a 1998 Windows Millenium laptop, without a usb port or proper internet (i had dialup for about 4 years)
No photoshop either, but boy, do things change with a new computer!
And the music part i can relate too too, i didnt have that much of music, but i had some, and i was up all night uploading it.
Good luck with Vista, i got it, and didnt find it to difficult to adapt to, but then again, my old one was WM, so everything to me is about 1000X better...
P.S. Tooka new photo today, and dont know whether to enter it, or stick to my old chioce, please go comment at flickr.

| Kari you have uploaded some really great stuff lately! I'm most familiar with your awesome self portraits, but you have a real talent for shooting the outdoors as well! Let's hope we get some challenges the Jokers can capitalize on that with! lol |

Food or Beverage recipe? And you have to post the recipe with the shot? I'm seriously going to have a HARD time coming up with anything for this challenge. I'm not much of a "chef." Can I take a picture of the inside of my microwave with a Healthy Choice frozen dinner in it?

| I got clobbered overnight, actually it's the biggest drop that I've had the pleasure of enduring, nearly 0.8. 40 votes 5.3250. Bummer. Time to move on to the recipe shot which is going to be tough. |
