As you say, awesome clouds and a good compositing job.

Your friend looks maybe a LITTLE too bright and/or sharp to fit in; maybe try adding an orange cast so that it looks like the same light source (light reflected from the clouds).

You should maybe print the inverted clouds by themselves, too. |

This one I took over the summer during the fires up here in the Land of the Canucks!

By the way, this is my first attempt at putting a thumbnail in, let me know if I screw up!

 and this one too

I love all the pictures posted so far, sunset's and rise's and the sky in general are some of my favourite shots, and I've looked through this thread a number of times for inspiration!

Thumbnails are working great, as are the photos. I think I like the second a bit better, because I've been working on getting those shots into the sun to come out. The first one is a bit visually jarring to be, because as I scan down from the sky past the rocks I expect to see a Southwestern desert floor, not a Canadian seascape -- I like it but/because it's unusual.

 Took this yesterday on

The image is part of a series I did documenting a front moving in, one which brought havoc to my region. All of the images were NegArt (inverted) out of camera. I chose this mode originally out of boredom. The light was against me, there were people everywhere (this tends to irritate me), and I couldn't get in the groove. When I saw how the images came out, I decided to do a series exclusively in this mode.

Thanks for your comment. You took some care. I appreciate this. |

		| Zeuszen The image “Flight17 is remarkable. It reminds me of past times. Of a flight taking off just in time before devastation hits. As if a volcano has just erupted and the end of an island is at hand. Very dramatic. In a sense heroic. |
