Can you see the images in Internet Explorer? At least that way you can get your DPC fix until you get the Firefox issue solved.

THANK YOU..... I still had 'Windows Explorer' on the desktop, and guess what, it is OK, and I have images now..... Yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh............

Is it OK to use 'Windows Explorer', and still have 'Firefox' on the desktop.

I will now use it now, and will still ring my technician on on Monday to check it out, as I really liked "Fierfox" for a couple of reasons. One being that I can enlarge text quickly, and also a spell check is there.

You can run both browsers at the same time with no problems.

If your computer has been giving you a 'low on virtual memory' message, check out this fix.

I think it's probably more directly related to your computer rather than your browser.

Also, you can run a defrag, if you haven't already. When dealing with a lot of photos, as we do, it creates a lot of shifts in the space on your computer. Here's a link to a free defrag that runs much much faster and more thorough than the one in your system tools: defrag download.

It's free. At the end of the defrag, they try to sell you something, but you don't have to buy it.

Try the defrag first and then the fix of the virtual memory. Make sure you have everything shut down during defrag.

Good luck.

Well, at least you know it is an issue that only affects FF. That narrows it down. Have you added anything to FF recently. Maybe a new extension?

BTW, a useful extension to have is IE Tab. It gives you the ability to open a tab in the Firefox window that is using the IE engine. Very useful and convenient for those occasional sites that dont cooperate with FF. (Which is usually the fault of the site not complying with standards, and NOT the fault of Firefox)
