I just became an official Aussie now..had to share it..!!! and would like to meet other Aussie 'DPC' Photographers and share ideas and maybe some great friendships could come of it all..;)
To everyone else? Would also be amazing to chat to other people around the world about all this Photography and all..

Congrats on the first part El-Dez!
You in the right website to talk about all things to do with photography,,, and all.
One of the best things to do here to learn and make friends is to get in one of the current side challenges. If you make a lot of comments on others images, you will get a lot of comments and suggestions about your images. I hope that you are in a photo-op rich area of Au.

Welcome to the crazy world of dpc, El-Dez! I'm Canadian, so also from a British colony with strange wildlife, humourous national stereotypes and lots of photographic scenery. There are many excellent Aussie photogs here on this site.
For myself, in my 2 years here I have learned a TON about photography since coming here with my humble first 2.01 mp point and shoot Samsung...now I have a Nikon D40 and a brand-new 18-200mm lens.
I side with Melon on the voting/commenting. As for meeting other Aussie photogs, I believe if you go to the Community menu on homepage, pulldown the menu to Photographer Profiles, and enter in the appropriate field (I think it's just called Location) enter 'Australia' or the name of your province, you should get a list of other Aussie dpcers.
Anyway, good luck and look forward to more of your challenge entries!

Susan: I would loveeeeee to go to Canada one day.. I got as far as Aus, so it is poss'ble!!
Have seen some wonderful pics from there..
Melon: I am very fortunite to live in QLD and very close to the whitesundays and the barrier reef..
I will expand my view and do some nature photos for DPC ;) |

I am so pleased that you have become an "Aussie" El-Dez, as it is a wonderful country, and we welcome you with open arms.
I am also very pleased that you joined DPC, as I have a new friend now.
I know we both live in Queensland, and I for one can't wait to meet you.
Keep those wonderful image coming, of your beautiful children, and family.
