Getting towards the tail end, and if I remember correctly, someone said to wait till the end of the month to destroy your props. (Don't worry, "shoehorn classic" is safe and can be expected to make future appearances.)

Cake Topper at our Wedding
I am heading on vacation tomorrow till the end of the month. I have the last 4 photos "in the can" and should be able to find some internet access to post them (Having them them come out a day at the time will keep up the suspense). I'll probably not have much time for comments, so I'll catch-up in July. This was a blast, but I think I'll wait a few months before trying a side challenge again. |

Passage
Grandma passed away last Friday night. You know, sometimes our first instinct when taking a photo is not always the correct idea for a situation. This photo is one of those. I wanted to do something with Grams in mind. First thing that came to my mind was Angels and Prayers.
Grandma was a fine woman, strong in her faith, who lived to be 95. That's when it hit me that this shot was wrong. MM must not be praying for Grams and her trip home as her course has been plotted via faith, so he must therefore be praying for the living in hopes we can live such a long and fruitful life.

Day #28: the "Negative Image" challenge
Haven't missed a day yet! Can my creativity (or lack of it) hold out for another two?
BTW, my shoehorn/Godzilla pic made it into "Explore" over on Flickr. That part of Flickr is even harder to figure out than what knowing what will score highly here on DPC. |

I am on limbo-land at the moment, due to a technical problem with my computer.
I cannot see any of the images that are loaded on to our DPC web site.
I can only see text.....
I am trying to find out what is wrong so I am unable to comment for now, until the problem is fixed.....
I am freaking out thats for sure.

Jun 24: Ozzie makes a bed for himself in the fruit basket 
Jun 25: Ozzie always fares very poorly in card games, as he keeps on showing his hand 
Jun 26: Ozzie pestering other members of the family 
Jun 27: Ozzie fiddling with things that he shouldn't 
Jun 28: Ozzie relaxing with a book at the end of a hard day's gardening 
Jun 29: Ozzie wanted to get in on the lightbulb challenge, but hasn't got a camera. Poor thing.
