I just got a 4000$ grant as an emerging artist !!!!
this means i supplies & travel fees !!! (no... no capital equipment {IE no camera equip.})
BUT the printing on canvas isn't cheap when making 72" prints ;)

Go Ralph! Good news is always nice to hear! I am glad that you are getting recognition though, and a little bump of cash never hurts either.
It's just a bummer that air travel is so expensive now compared to a year ago.

What kind of a grant was it? i.e. what foundation or organization gave the grant?
