Looking at the Heaven challenge I only see one photo that reminds me of a previous ribbon winner. That photo, however, could have been taken by any number of people rather than the same photog. Maybe I'm overlooking the photo in question, but I think I am familiar enough with the ribbon winners in the past few years to at least say nobody is repeatedly going back to the well on this one...

Don't give him ideas!! He'll ribbon for sure!!! The fairy outfit is a sure top ten for him!
Anyway, I know exactly which photo and photog are in question here and it's a shame that it's even brought into this light. The photog likes the subject, and yes the images are very similar but let it go. I know most of us take pictures of what we like and certainly this photog loves the subject enough to continue to shoot them. Keep it up and don't let anyone influence what you like to do! |

Don't think that will get you off the hook. My only ribbon was macro and several people seemed to be quite pissed off that my subject should win a Free Study. It made my win much sweeter! |

You shoot macros but don't enter macro specific challenges. Not that I want you to. :P Just curious.

Just to put a final touch to this thread......
LoveMelvin was the artist the OP was commenting about and while variety is a good thing I don't think he was wrong to enter her into this challenge. The subject was dead on and by the votes he was justified in his choice. Great job, again, to LoveMelvin for his excellent choice of subject and ribbon!
