Stealing Marks thunder (he's probably on a treadmill) he is currently going to raise £12 ($24) per pound lost, thats £552 ($1104) if he reaches his target so I for one hope its achieved!

Well, if I don't do it this time then I will never do it. The biggest weight loss I have ever done in the past is from 14st12lb to 11st3lb so it is doable.. just gonna be a long hard slog.

Thanks for the support.

Well, hopefully I will have lost a couple of pounds in my first week. been working out like a be-atch and had a physically exhasuting wedding on Saturday so lets hope it paid off.

Remember, I was 15st6lb last Monday... As long as I lose 3lb then I have raised some $$$ in the first week.

Fingers crossed for the first weigh-in Mark! :o)

OK, well the big weigh in has happened..

I was 15st 6lb last Monday, and I have had a week of feeling fricking hungry and exercising (and eating) like a Japanese Prisoner of War, albeit a happy one. But remember I am only counting weight lost from 15st 4lb..

Anyway, in my first week I have managed to lose....

7lb !!! Yes I am down to 14st 13lb, so thats 5lb lost under the rules of engagement and that means I have raise around £60.75 (about $120) in my first week.. I am really very pleased with that, although I know the first week is always the easiest, I am aiming to lose another 3lb this week.

I hope this inspires a few more of you to sponsor me!

Cheers!

WOOHOO!! Way to go Mark! That's fantastic news, I'm sure it's not been an easy week but not only have you shed a few pies you've also raised a great amount! ;o) I have every confidence that you'll reach your target weight by your deadline!

Hey LardArse (got to say it whilst I still can). Congrats on a fantastic first week. A great start to your quest but do hope things calm down to a couple of pounds a week (as much for your health as my wallet lol).

Keep off the pies and on the treadmill my good man and will see (more than I want of) you on the London Eye for the final weigh in!

Well, for final weigh-in this is what it is I have been requested to wear - and yes, I will be wearing dark shoes and socks with it for that full-on `Borat` effect.

Well good for you Mark, you might need to shave before dressing up in that !

Not exactly the picture I wanted my work colleagues to to see pop up on my screen Mark!

Now, if your serious about this you'll have to be in a pod on your own and it would be the icing on the cake to have the pods either side full of dpc'ers (am thinking an arrest at the end of the flight could well be on the cards lol).

Damn shame I chucked my frilly panties out!

Good luck for tomorrow Mark!

Well, weigh in - week 2..
Week 0 - 15st 6lb
Week 1 - 14st 13lb
Week 2 - 14st 8lb

So thats another 5lb gone... :)

Its going to start slowing down now, so gotta up that exercise! Hopefully I will be able to get down to 14st 6lb next week and mark off that first stone..

WOW! another big congrats Mark! Thats another $5 from me ($10 if/when you reach your target weight). Now, a full stone in 3 weeks would be incredible but as you say, things will slow down soon and a couple of pounds a week would be ideal for weight loss.

Keep up the good work Mark!

Go Simms! Excellent news, but don't go too crazy, or you will end up yoyoing and putting it all back on again!

So long as you don't excercise in your Borat gear then pictures would be a welcomed addition to this thread/your website ;o)
