Hi

Are the below lenses up to wedding photography

Sigma 18-50mmf2.8 EX DC Macro

Sigma 70-200mmf2.8 EX DG Macro HSM II

As with any and all Sigma lens. There are good copies and bad copies. Both of those lens can be good, or they can be awful. Although for wedding photography I'd think that you may want some faster prime lens to go along with them. As churches tend to be pretty dark and without IS(or VR as Nikon calls it) you may be bumping that ISO way up.

Thanks for that, what VR lens do you suggest I have looked at the review from www.dpreview.com on the nikon 70-200mm VR and it's not that great specially fitted on the FX D3.

Since I have never shot Nikon you would be better off asking someone who has. Visit the Nikon forum on Fred Miranda or Nikon cafe to get the most out of your lens request post.
