Can anyone explain how to place a frame around a photo using Photo Elements II. Maybe I am dense, but I can't find it. Thanks

whatt kind of frame???
simple 1 to infinity single collor pixel frames can be done with the crop feature
set your backgrownd collor to the collor of your frame
zero out/reset the crop tool
drag it to include the entire picture
using the arrow keys on your keyboard pick 2 directions lets say for arguments sake left and down count in even numbers twice the number of pixles you want in your frame
drag the crop lines to fill the pic on the other 2 sides up and right
now using the arow keys click the number of pixles for the frame up and right
I know this is confusing but it's the best I can explain it

Please aslo check this recent thread.
It is far easier to have your photo slightly smaller than the final size, set the Background to the desired color, and use the Canvas Size command to enlarge to the final size. If you don't mind losine part of your photo at the edges, set the Forground to the desired color, Select All, and apply a stroke. |
