While I'm at it I might as well get caught up with some other images.
A few weeks before leaving for Italy I went to a Wolf Education center in Golden British Columbia. If you ever get the chance to go, it's well worth it.

Sorry to hear about your best buddy.
He kind of looks like one of the wolves at the center. That particular wolf is actually part Husky. |

Absolutely stunning images Colette. I too am partial to the image of the black wolf as it has a look akin to one of the paintings by Robert Bateman.
Very nicely done.

I can say from experience also that, that particular place is nothing less than awesome to visit. I went there last fall and my initial impression at arriving there was OMG this is freaking creepy. We got there first thing in the morning when it was just us, but after meeting the people and a couple of the wolves it was a great experience esp when their main male and female wolves started howling, and the feeling of standing 10' from a couple wolves howling is really something else. Not only is it fairly loud but you can actually feel them howling to your very core and is something I wont soon forget :) I really want to try to go on one of the walking with wolves photo tours. You have some beautiful captures cpanaioti Im quite envious actually ;)

The place is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. It all depends on the day as to which wolves you get to walk with. We were lucky to have Tuk (the black wolf) for our outing.
Black wolves are a lot shyer than the rest so it was interesting to see his behaviour while we were out walking. |
