Adam Chilson's "Introductory Lighting Techniques" at D. M. Gremlin Studios, Sunday June 29
There has been a tremendous interest in a repeat of our sold-out "Introductory Lighting Techniques" workshop with Adam Chilson. So, we are offering the workshop again on Sunday June 29th, 10am-7pm. Event location is D. M. Gremlin Studios, in Long Beach, CA.
Behind the scenes and final images from our March workshop here.
This workshop is a full day event, limited to 8 photographers for plenty of individual Q&A time and shooting opportunities. The mood is high-energy, but the event is informal, open to question and discussion, rather than a lecture-style presentation.
The morning will focus on detailed demonstrations and discussions of lighting techniques applicable to glamour, portrait, and artistic photography. Starting one light at a time, building up to basic lighting on a black or white backdrop.
The afternoon will continue with a set-build and applications of the morning's techniques into lighting the set. Each participant will have then have the opportunity to direct the model on set to create their own portfolio images to take from the event.
More detailed workshop information, itinerary, and registration can be found at the workshop web site.
Registration fee of $175/person covers the full day event, and includes lunch and promotional model release. This class is already filling, so if you are interested in participating, please contact the studio at studio@dm-gremlin.com, or call 866-334-4364. |
