Hmmmm, doesn't work while voting.
hehehehehhheh So I guess site owners
had to make mods for it to work with
finished challenges. I bet the thumb
nail voters would really like for it
to work in voting. Man, you could
vote for a 600 plus FS in 10 minutes!
LOL

Oh boy...neat, more cosmetic changes...

Since I installed it last night I'm noticing a real slowdown in IE when loading pages and it's crashed twice. So I'm probably going to uninstall it. It was fun though.

Uh Oh! Only one problem when dropping out of Piclens to comment and returning: each image you comment on will be in a separate tab on FireFox. The tab doesn't go away after you return. So, if you comment on 100 images, you'll have 100 tabs. On a memory starved PC that could be a BSOD. No biggie, I've got 4 gig.

Edit: found the solution to this one. Simply use the "x" on the tab that comes up to kill it. Then clicking the piclens icon returns you to the same image. Neat.

Fantastic visually!!!

But, it needs work in my opinion. The add-on eats memory for breakfast, the more you browse the more memory it uses and does not release it when you close Piclens. If you browse for too long...you WILL run out of memory!

This appears to be true. FireFox on my machine cranks up with 50k used. After browsing the two latest challenges FireFox was using 277k. I suspect a bug report needs to be forwarded to the developers. Until then I'd recommend dumping your browser and restarting before doing anything else with it.

Yup. Although it looks great as I said earlier, it stuffs with Firefox after awhile. Just got rid of it! I'd lost interest in it anyway. As Bearmusic said, you can't do anything with comments etc.

But you can. The little globe icon is there for precisely that.

Yep, the globe works great, then it has a link back to the slideshow, leaving off at the same spot you left. I won't be dumping it, I just have to keep in mind that it will eat away my memory and will need to be closed out every once in awhile.

It seems Piclens and DPC are not yet best of friends, I had to uninstall it. :/
Here is another thread with people having to do the same thing. I wish there was a way to block it from use on DPC only, I liked it on other sites alot. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I like that thought, because I feel the same way. Piclens never gave me much trouble until it turned up on DPC. I wonder if this is something fixable, since I'll miss piclens :-(
