why do people keep saying that?? im so confused, i hear it all the time and still have no idea what its from |
SPOILER:
Silence of the Lambs, one of the mentally disturbed men in the film was a serial killer, he would kidnap young women, age 20 or so, then stave them, skin them, and wear their skin in order to become like a women himself. He would keep them at the bottom of a pit and make them put on lotion every day to keep their skin soft and young.
Edit: Every time he would utter "It puts the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose again.", I don't believe the film was clear in explaining the second half if it meant being soaked or beaten by a hose.
Somethings in life you probably rather you did not know, eh?

The quote is from "Silence of the Lambs." The male psycho is making a female suit to wear. The woman he kidnapped is supposed to put lotion on so when he kills her and skins her (for the female suit) the skin will be soft. |

Those are edited shorts from longer videos. If you go to the video site the full length as well as some other strange videos are available for purchase. They show a dozen still shots of each. Those are some sick people. By the looks of the stills, a lot of them actually look like various ways to dispose of a body as opposed to anything else. |
Why are they sick people just because they like different things than you do. Granted I haven't seen the videos but unless they are illegal I'm not sure how you can fairly call the people sick. |
I'd agree sick is the wrong word for it but I don't think its far off the mark. I for one am all for every one having their own personal taste but some of the images look like disembodied woman in cement blocks which is rather disturbing. |

Well as long as they are using fake women as an outlet. There are many forms of coping and treatment, not all comes from speaking with councilors and popping pills. |

I'm confused - why would people need "coping and treatment" in place of counselors and pills if they are, as you said, not "sick"? |

XD, very good Art. However maybe I can back out of this one intact...
It is the same way men cope with a stressful day with a plop on the sofa and a cold beer. Doesn't make them sick, they just need to get a load off and relax.
Shrinks would probably call these fetishists sick, and want to drown them with pills and speaking about their misplaced anger at their mothers for missing that little league game when they were 8 and their home run. |

Lol, I swear nothing phases me any longer I've either seen everything or imagined it.
Well... the first part is untrue, but different kinds of things bother me, like every time I see someone driving around in an SUV alone, or just idling while eating fast food instead of just going inside and saving that gas for the rest of us. Little things like that bother me a lot more.
Not saying anyone is wrong to be bothered by such things, just speaking of myself personally. |

Apparently you did not look at enough of the pictures. In one series it shows that just the ass and crotch area are above the 'dirt' level in the container (obvious why that is based on the 'pose') while the rest of the container appears to have the rest of the body in a dismembered state. The last two of the series shows the woman coming out of the container and she has a tube in her mouth so she can breath.
I say they are sick - MY OPINION - as to me it is glaringly obvious that in the series of shots shows that the only purpose for the particular arrangement is so someone can 'pretend' they are performing necrophilia. Sorry if you don't like my opinion, but that is sick. I don't care if some person wants to walk around pretending to be something they aren't, even to the point of wearing a mask and fake tits to achieve that. But pretending to screw a dismembered corpse is sick. |

Agreed. The other ones that disturbed me were the vacuum sealed set... Why would you want to have sex with a woman whose vacuum sealed in a giant zip lock bag?... though I guess freshness would be garanteed...

They look like props for a horror movie.
Let's see, for $1000 USD, should I get one of those or a new camera lens? |

Actually screwing a dismembered corpse?
Pretending to screw a membered corpse?
Just to add fuel to the fire, nowadays "sick" can mean "cool" or "awesome" - as in "Pretending to screw a dismembered corpse is awesome!"
Speaking of corpses...this thread needs to be buried. Deep. |

In this case, I assure you, 'sick' meant sick: ill, affected by an impairment of normal* physical or mental function.
*added by me: whatever normal is. But what I took from it fits the definition. And again - JUST MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION.
