Anybody have any experience with Sunpak products? Especially filters and lens.

Interested in a tele-converter (add-on) that extends 5x zoom to any camera with 52mm threads.

I use a Sunpak UV (Haze) filter for my Canon A70. I bought it mainly as an adapter for my Focus X2 teleconverter. When mounted on my adapter the lenses were touching the camera lenses and the famous Canon error E18 came out. I have not really tested the effect...

Is that a 5x teleconverter you are thinking of buying? I think Sunpak products are OK. I use a Sunpak circular polarizer. But I would be leary of chromatic aberation, or purple fringing, with such a powerful teleconverter. If it was described as achromatic or aspheric, or using ED glass, that would alay those fears a lot.
