Have any of you other Nikon users experienced problems with Capture NX crashing? My specific scenario is based on a single file all out crashing the system seconds after opening. I found the problem when I was doing some batch processing and returned to my computer to find that the program had crashed. At first I thought my computer just ran out of resources, because although it's got good power, I was running a good number of applications at the time. I retried the batch, same thing happened, at the exact same point in the sequence. So, I figured out which photo it was and now I'm wondering what would cause this? All the other photos are fine, and actually, the screwy one can still be viewed on the camera no problem. The only issue is that this is a raw file and so I can't even convert it to another format currently to use another application instead. Anybody else encounter this and what exactly is the problem here? |

Well, the program itself doesn't crash regularly except with this file (unless I'm reading from an external card reader, but I think that's just caused by the read/write speed of the writer not being up to snuff with what the program tries to do), so that's what I'm wondering. The file doesn't seem to be corrupted per se, though, which is why I'm confused. |
