does anybody have this "Flashtrax?" I have read some reviews and everyone seems to love them. I was just wondering if anyone has them. There was recently a review done on it at dpreview.com. Heres the link, //www.smartdisk.com/Products/DigitalMultimedia/FlashTrax.asp just if anyone wants to check it out. |

I don't have one but it definatly looks like a nice little device :)
PS: Do you think you could refrain from typing in all capital letters in the future, as I've noticed you've done it on quite a lot of your threads. A lot of people find it quite rude, and I think you'll get a better response if you just type normally :) Thanks

Neat little device but you could get a pretty nice camera for the price. |

I have a 30GB Super Digibin. It was about $220 and works perfectly. What I spent on it was money saved in CF cards, and I have seemingly unlimited storage when I am out shooting.
No LCD screen for viewing, but if I am out in the field, I can look at them in camera if I care to see them. The Super Digibin is for transferring images from the CF card to the unit, then to the computer. I don't care to pay an extra $200-300 for an LCD screen.

That's good news -- my friend Rich is testing his in Australia for about three weeks. When he gets back, maybe you can explain the best way to get it to just mount as an extra hard drive for backup purposes. |
