thank you very much for taking the time to comment, andrew. all valid and useful points. i suppose the whole point of the blending of tone between me and the camera was to accentuate the joining of the two. and, yes, you caught me, the noise was concealing imperfect focus. no matter what i did, it wasn't spot on (i shot about 50 pics) i had planned on using noise, but it was very useful as well.

Thanks -- good job.
My positioning was partly dictated by really wanting to show the subject flower and simultaneously see it on the screen, and partly by my son's patience in posing the camera. |

This will be open one more day, though I may be slower to reply tomorrow but I will comment on each image posted.
I will reopen submissions for the 'Boat' challenge after rollover on Sunday.
So until than you have one more day for 'Movie Title II, and Dappled Light'.
