Union Station Spokesman interupted telling journalist photography permitted

Awesome! I am not normally a fan of Fox news however this was perfect and clearly demonstrated the problem imo. Something very odd is going on at Union Station. |

It's a local Fox affiliate, not Fox News. Big difference. |

Could care less about Fox news. I thought it was hilarious that the spokesman explaining that photography was ok, just slunk into the background as the hyper guard explained photography was not allowed. Then you look around the station in the video and you see all types of people using cameras. There is a serious disconnect and I believe it is institutionalized secrecy. As the guard said, "I can't talk to you about it." Since the US became a "Homeland" we've made more and more things secret. An open, free society can not survive in a climate of secrecy. I'd much rather face the dangers of terrorism, than have my own government as the enemy. |
