I was not sure whether the disclaimer at the end would be necessary. Now I realize I should have made it longer and put it at the beginning. ;-) And I'm not calling out or criticizing anyone, please try and have a tiny bit of humour. Please...

I realized you were trying to have fun, but you mention an image that is in voting right now and there is another thread that has progressed into a Masks DNMC thread. Believe me, I do have a sense of humor or I wouldn't take shots like this:

Humor is one thing - and I do appreciate the tone of the note you sent. But you did call out a specific entry (against forum rules) and that is just unfortunate.

This was supposed to be a joke referring to all the "My Cat" pictures. And it was in a Free Study. ;-)

About discussing entries during voting: I merely mentioned the fact that there are pictures with dogs and cats in the current challenges. Everyone can see that. I can't imagine what the problem with that would be.

And telling from the threads started here in the forum ("Quotes", "Your [lowest scoring/highest scoring] favourite is?", "Highest & Lowest Scores in Successive Challenges", etc.) I had the impression that some people are getting bored, so I wanted to provide some fodder. ;-)

And dassilem, don't worry, I did.

It was like a scavenger hunt just waiting to be solved. Never did find the frisbee catching dog. :-)

But then you definitely crossed the line when you entered your dog in the "Bicycles" challenge. Ok, part of a handle bar was also visible in the image, but it was mainly a shot of your dog. Then you put both a cat and a dog in the "Portrait of a Camera" challenge & . Including part of a camera somewhere in the image does not make it better. A highlight was the brown ribbon you got in the "Healthy Food" challenge for a picture of your dog. Simply your dog. It wasn't even eating anything. This probably means that you consider the dog itself healthy food. Ok, go ahead and have your dog for dinner. You may even take pictures. But please, just don't submit them for the next challenge.

Your dog was welcome in the sepia challenge, where you didn't have to add any other elements to the image to make it barely meet the challenge. & & & & & & & & & & ...

Wow, Barry, you were fast! I didn't want to link to the images because I thought people (especially those not getting the joke) would criticize me for doing that... And it would have undermined my idea of pretending that it's always the same guy submitting the dog pictures. ;-)

Dear Sam94720,

As a cat owner, I find your HATE of dogs and cats, and thread herein, quite distasteful !

I have reported your post to Site Council, and am lobbying for the suspension of your account.

You should be ashamed of yourself !

Not enough cats in this thread! Please rectify immediately!! (Although that shot of RKT's cat is one of my all time favorites on this site.)

And those are just mine, and just from this year.... And I see I need to shoot more of Miss Emma. Wonder if I can get a shot of both of them for Partners??

Squirrels I love. There can never be enough squirrels in a challenge (as long as they are appropriate for the theme).

Whine, whine, complain complain. At least it's dogs. Someone could be entering pictures of something totally weird into every challenge, like shoehorns or something...
