Is it legal under Advanced Editing to use the healing brush to remove wrinkles from fabric / faces? Also is it legal to use the healing brush to remove cuts, scars, or acme from portraits?
Thanks much!

It is legal, to a point. The test in advanced editing is a typical viewers description. Minor imperfections in the photo can be repaired, but major ones, that add or remove elements from the photo can not. I would say that if you are talking about a small wrinkle, it can be removed. If you have an older subject whose face has prominent wrinkles and you remove them all, this probably would not be legal. Another way to deal with alot of wrinkles would be to add a layer with blur, and use a mask to blur the skin. You won't be removing the wrinkles, but softening, and this would be allowed to a much greater extent. |

Ah ok, yeah I was thinking of both levels of de-wrinkling actually.
I thought using layers in that manner was illegal since it sill selectively works on pixels, or is the blur tool allowed in Advanced? |

You can work on pixels and use the blur tool in advanced.
If you push your wrinkle removing to a point where the subject looks unnatural or has plastic-looking skin, your will creamed by the voters. |

And sometimes, even when you don't use PS to do much, you will still get creamed by the voters if the face looks too smooth... good makeup saves lots of time :)
Any selective tool is legal in Advanced. |
