Whiterook, go for it. I'm expecting some "shoehorn" comments on my entry but I'm also hoping a few really like it, which will make up for the others.

The challenge description WAS pretty liberal, giving the impression (at least to me) that pretty much anything at all boat-like would "float". :)

No, you have MARINES in Phoenix.

A marina is on a body of water like a river, bay, etc.

I'm in the same boat(groan) I always pick the wrong one and then spend the week wondering how the other one would have done.

Just changed out my entry. I'm not going to be wondering at all, though. However this one does (Probably low 5's) the first would have been at least a half point below it.

Still, this is my first entry since January so I'm less concerned about how it does than I am just happy to be back in the game!

I entered mine..

Out of curiosity.. How many times do you go back & look at your entered photo ?? Wondering if this is the right one.. Looking at it over & over as if something may have changed.. LOL.. I keep going back & looking at it.. It's still the same.. It's ridiculous.. I can't stop though. Hurry up rollover..

Nary a boat around this week and I enjoy enter challenges just to see what people like or don't like about my shots, so I put together a last minute thought. Not expecting a great score. I'll be happy if it hits 5. Lol

Not really looking forward to the score I will receive for this submission, but unfortunately I suffer from a very serious addiction called "Submission Addiction" It affect 3 out of 4 DPC'ers.

I'd even gone so far as considering carving a bar of Ivory soap. Now I wish I had, just for the fun factor :)

Lol, but I don't have any Ivory in the house at the moment! I'll save the idea for another fitting challenge.

Omg I cannot believe that I got in, 2 minutes before deadline. Photoshop kept locking up on me, I thought I was a goner for sure, phew!
