I vote that we give this occurrence a catchy name, like "5-21", and then send the troops out to liberate a country rich in domain names.

So, at the moment the only person with the ability to execute the rollover script, access or run queries directly on the database, or change any of the website php code or database structure is Langdon?

Langdon does a fine job of running the site, and we've only had the rollover issue a few times since the start of the site, 2 that I remember. I don't think it should be a big deal, or really any deal at all. I think if we have to wait a day for rollover, then so what, we can all survive to see our final numbers come out. Just my 2 cents.

Given the day-to-day tasks like rollover, ad-hoc stuff, and also the bigger development plans (DPL, Prints etc.) it's still a lot of work for 2 people to be taking on, assuming they're both coders. I doubt Drew + Langdon have DPC as a day job, they probably fit it into their spare time.

I know some DPC-ers volunteered to help with areas like the DPL coding. But from 'Challenging Technologies' LLC's viewpoint, allowing volunteers near the PHP or the database could lead to disputes over site ownership, intellectual property rights etc...etc...etc...

Just an observation.
