Greetings!
I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone and hopefully get some pointers on the community! I've been photographing on-and-off since high-school (it's been somewhat like a bad relationship at times) but I'm looking to grow my skills. I've been stagnant and I've kind of "lost my muse" and my searches for inspiration lead me here. I'm particularly interested in the the challenges and the accompanying critiques (with emphasis on learning how I can do better). I have a smattering of my photos up on my flickr page.
Backround (as of this writing): male, 30, single, no kids, living in Chicago, professional-type office job, former computer geek (no longer), pseudo-foodie, music fiend.
I look forward to growing my technical and artistic skills here, and I'm happy to have discovered such a vibrant community where I can learn!

I too am trying to better my photography skills. I participate in side challenges which is a lot of fun. You get great comments and a lot of help. |
