What, you don't bring a rake, weedwhacker and some green spray paint? At least bring the paint - it can help hide yellow dandelions and brown bare spots!

I use profilmet.com - they'll bag each kid and bundle by team for 40 cents a kid, all you do is deliver. A large selection of items ALL customized w/ the kids name, etc. A color corrected unit is $1.60. Free shipping. They can supply order forms w/ one side in color of the products the other side is for you to price out for 12 cents each. 500 for $60 makes it almost a no brainer to use it.
Unless you want to insert memory mate or team photo 'frames', the cardboardy things. Tyndell has some great ones at great prices - 8x10 easel for digital memory mate (or print) are less than 37 cents each. 5x7 is about a dime cheaper.

No all my lawn care equipment is on the trailer for my forth job! The paint is a great idea for brown spots...I could always have the tee-ball kids go out and pick flowers (dandelions) to give to their moms! I wonder if I can write off a new weed-eater as a photography business expense?!?

I will look into profilmet.com

Thanks!

I totaled everything up last night. 19 teams, ~220 kids total (I will have to go back through the order forms for a more exact number). We had a few freebies in there...mainly close family members and people instrumental in getting us in with the leagues. Plus a complimentary 5x7 team photo for each coach (32) and 8x10 team photo for each team sponsor (19).

The baseball teams spent $3298.50 ($15/kid average); the league will get a $200 "Fundraising Donation" (a percentage of packages sold); and we will profit just shy of $2,000. Costs besides printing/shipping pictures were: fuel/mileage, printing order forms, bags to package/deliver in.

We sold 179 packages (4 choices), 111 additional prints (wallets, 4x5, 5x7, 8x10), 37 additional buttons, and 30 additional products (Magazine Covers, Memory Mates, and Trader Cards).

We shot 12 teams on a Saturday, 2 more that Sunday, 4 the following Thursday, and 1 that Friday. We would have had all of them there the original weekend, but were waiting on their t-shirts to be printed.

All in all it was a pretty good deal. I landed two more sports leagues out of it, so I can't complain. Pictures will be packaged and returned within the three week (from shoot date) time period established in the bid.

I am looking forward to next season!
