Sorry, Romil, but I have to use you as an example. Nothing personal, but it's just something I noticed.

In romil's profile page, he has entered two challenges, but one was DQ'ed. So, his only other entry has a final score of 4.9749, but his average votes received is 6.2506.

Do DQ results stay in your profile stats?

Or, could it be he is currently entered into a challenge(s) and this reflects the live scoring? (which I highly doubt, after doing some math)

edit to add: Since I wrote this original message yesterday, it appears that now all of romil's challenge entries (two) have been DQ'ed. So, his average should be zero, yes? His posted average can no longer be because of a currently entered challenge, since he should be banned from entering a challenge for a while (because of the two DQ's)

There was another thread on this. The scores are live. So if he's in any other challenges, his profile stats will change as the votes are made.

After you get a few challenges under your belt it becomes harder and harder to see the immediate effect. But I calculated one user's exact current score by running thru his hundred or so past challenges, adding them all up, and figuring out the difference. It's a ton of work, but I wanted to prove it was possible.

If he was in another challenge it would show that he has entered 3 challnges not 2.

It's a mystery only a group of meddling teenagers and their mangy dog could solve.

And I'd have gotten away with it if it wasn't for you kids and your mangy mut!

The average does include the DQ but there are scripts that are run (weekly?) that will sort out the stats and remove it. I self-DQ'd once and it took a week for my stats to come right.

I've asked this before and was told that the scores are updated weekly and when the week was up, the score would reflect only the challenges that were not DQ'ed. But I checked back and this was not the case, so I can tell you with 100% certainty that DQ'ed photos DO count towards your stats and I think this is highly unfair.

Self DQ's are not the same as DQ's that are done by SC and left on a person's profile page.

Both have been DQ'd?
eta; Oh, right, the old photos.

I recently got DQ's from a 5th place with a fairly high score, and I can assure you my running average went down......
