Just an acknowledgement of and to those who have provided the most recent topics, especially Dreams, Lighting, All Alone, Grace, Infinity and Sacred Places. It has been a welcome and refreshing change of pace and views. These topics, to me, were excellent choices, open enough to accomodate a variety of interpretations while presenting reasonable difficulty for literalists. ;-)
Best of all, there was still plenty of room for images communicating a feeling or vision as opposed to a merely 'rendered' object or idea. I just feel a little grateful and wanted to see it go somewhere. |

My question is how many "not on topic" or "don't fit the challenge are we gonna get for Sacred? After all the challenge says to "Photograph a place sacred to you." How does any viewer know what is sacred to ME?

Based on what you said, there realistically shouldn't be any d/q's for "sacred" because it is such an ambiguous topic.

We'll still get the usual dose of 'Doesn't fit the challenge' along with prejudiced votes, and DQ's will likely still be requested for anything that appears to be 'to good to be true', I think.
And those who feel that everything is sacred, certainly, will vote fairly. :-)

Just to let you know, not meeting the challenge is not a reason for DQ. We will ignore any DQ requests related to this.
