Ditto what JulietNN said. It's beautiful (I love the texture you used for the backgrounds), and your images are amazing.

To speed up the first gallery page: all the "thumnails" are 43k, which probably isn't necessary for the size shown, especially since they look great even when blown up at the same size. You could probably cut those at least in half & still have a decent thumb. Alternatively, you could skip that first "all thumbs" gallery page, and go straight to the one that shows a blow up and a bunch of thumbs on top, which I prefer anyway.

Thank you both for the input. I noticed it was a tad slow but put it down to my server speed being a bit sluggish. I have no idea how to rectify it though. LOL

I 'think' it is what Bebe said.

From what I understand, (which is pretty much zero) is that the larger the files on the page are, the slower it becomes. So cut images in half without losing quality.

How you do that though , i have no idea.

But i think it is a really good solid webpage with some fantastic shots . Very well done indeed!!!

OK I had a look at what I built from the iWeb program and it looks like I used 700x450 type images to make the thumbs on the front page. So basically I would need to make mini images for the front and use those instead to help it load faster? Sorry I am a total novice at web making.

Thanks

Yes that sounds about right (I think) if they are just thumbs and you are not clicking on them to make them larger, i would think you could make them slower. But again, this is just guess work on my part
